Menurut Idioteq.com, berbicara soal The Offspring yang sedang dilantik untuk masuk di Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tahun depan.

Meskipun tidak berafiliasi dengan Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, situs Future Rock Legends berkata bahwa The Offspring sudah memenuhih semua syarat untuk meraih prestis di Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2013 dan akan hadir juga 2014 Induction Ceremony. Demikian yang tertulis di situs Future Rock Legends:

"The Offspring telah sukses dengan menulis lagu tentang kecemasan kaum muda di pinggirian selatan California untuk beberapa dekade terakhir. "

Apabila jadi masuk daftar Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, maka The Offspring akan menjadi band punk rock keempat yang dinominasikan masuk di daftar Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, diikuti oleh Ramones, The Clash and Sex Pistols yang telah dimasukkan pada 2002, 2003 dan 2006.(kad/ugc)
